8 things to Remember during the Storms of Life…

8 things to Remember during the Storms of Life…

God is in full control of the timing and intensity of your trial and will not allow it to go beyond His boundaries.

He has a specific purpose for your suffering which you may not understand until it is over.

This trial will prove to be profitable if you submit to God and trust Him through it.

Trying situations are opportunities for faith to prove genuine and grow stronger.

When you endure extreme pressure with unexplainable peace and joy, the Lord will demonstrate His sustaining power to a watching world.

Your difficulties are used by the Father to produce Christ-like character.

God will walk with you through all trials.

The Holy Spirit will enable you not only to survive but also to come out a conqueror.

In January James went to be with Jesus after being hit by a tractor trailer.

James was a young man in my son's band, Forever Is Forever.  He was a son, brother, best friend, our adopted kid, amazing listener, giver of his time, Awesome lead guitar player, incredible writer, & so much more.

The pain of losing him has not gotten any easier & I still look for him to be walking in our door at any moment.

His Dad is having an incredibly difficult time right now, so please pray for his heart <3

I tell you about James to say this:
Spend time making MEMORIES every single day & treat each day as it was your last here on earth!

Thank you Dear Jesus for allowing James to spend three days a week in our home & so many week-ends as the band played shows!

So HaPpY that we have:

M E M O R I E S
THAT WILL

This saying means so much to my heart!
If God Changes Your Heart
Be Willing To Change Your Plans

In all my 47 years of life did I ever think about how God could actually change my heart so much that I would be willing to do something that was incredibly out of my comfort zone.

For me, it was moving 14 hours away from all my family & friends.  I could not imagine after visiting the town that we were going to move to, how this would be possible.  I was willing to move & I knew that if this is what God wanted for our lives, it would happen.

Sometimes, I think God just wants our hearts to be willing.  He wants us to step out on FAITH and trust in Him!  God  has taught me so much through this past two years of back to back hardships.  He promises me this:

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
